Jay Strongwater Catalog

I was responsible for visual design, photography, and retouching on a major project: a 400+ page catalog with a demanding deadline. The project required a thorough understanding of typography, layout design, and color theory to create a polished and cohesive final product. Additionally, I worked on a total of 9 catalogs, each with unique creative direction that adhered to strict brand guidelines and maintained consistency across all marketing collateral. This process also involved heavy use of Adobe Creative Suite to ensure all images were optimized for both digital and print formats.

The design process included concept development and collaborating closely with the marketing team to align the overall design strategy with the brand’s vision. With user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) principles in mind, I focused on intuitive layout structures to enhance the readability and engagement of each catalog page. Throughout this project, I prioritized art direction and the efficient management of creative resources, meeting short deadlines while maintaining a high standard of graphic design across all assets. Ultimately, this project exemplified my ability to deliver exceptional design systems under pressure, ensuring a polished, on-brand, and visually engaging result.
